As the title suggests, another blank last night. The wind was an absolute killer, swirling round my brolly all night and wreaking havoc all around me. The Carp just didn’t seem to be in the mood, and neither did the Bream or Tench…not a beep all night.
Maybe time for another change, I think I need to try and find the fish. As I’m the only one still fishing for Carp down there, i fear the fish may have switched off completely and opted to shoal up for winter. If I can find them and drop a bait on their heads, hopefully I can tempt one into a mistake.
Maybe…!
Any other ideas guys? I’m getting desperate here!

keep with it mate. there’s been a lot of fresh water entering the lakes/ rivers. it will take some time to settle down. i think there may be a weather change on the way for next week some frost and turning colder. cheers
Thanks for that mate, I hadn’t really considered that. Thinking about it, because the lake is a balancing lake it’s really affected by rainfall etc.
Good job I’m not working again till January - plenty of time for some settled weather i suppose.
Next week looks baltic!
