How about adding http://www.masterblanker.com to the blog roll, I am running it more as an articles site with a lot of How-to information as well as general fishing stories and reviews of carp fishing related tackle.

Nice post, I also just did a write up about Jake ( which is how I found this blog), he is an inspiration to us all and whilst I suspect that 99.99999% of us will never walk in his foot steps we can learn a lot from what he has done. His survival guide is simply superb and is packed with useful information for the session angler. Keep up the good work !

Bon dia, from Spain , We have just opened a guesthouse in Tortosa, Spain only an 1 ½ Hours from Barcelona , Tortosa is great fishing country as it lies along the river Ebro, famous for Wells Catfish and Carp.. Have you ever fished the ebro? We are new to this and needto gather as much info as we can.Many people travel to the area for a fishing experience…we would like our accommodation to become part of that extreme experience, our house has two double rooms, two twin rooms and a three bed family room and extra put up beds ….The house is quite unique as part of the house has a self contained apartment with 4 bedrooms, kitchen and lounge diner..Perfect for those who want their own privacy, but want a little bit of service.

Yeah he has this Carp down to the last nail in the bag!
I don’t like handlin them carps we got down here because they be lookin like something from a scifi movie.

Thanks for you message. I’ve not managed any fishing since I’ve been back, all of my gear is in France and storage over here is always going to be difficult. Hopefully that will change once I find a bigger and nicer place to live - fingers crossed!
